On September 16, 2025, several members of the Color Guard from the Clearwater and Tampa SAR Chapters participated in the Welcome Home Celebration for Honor Flight of West Central Florida – Mission 54. When the aircraft of 75 military veterans and the Ambassadors who accompanied them arrived at the St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport, the SAR Color Guard led them through a long passageway lined with well-wishers to the baggage claim area. The patriotic crowd gathered to celebrate and honor these true American heroes and wish them an enthusiastic “Welcome Home” for their unwavering service and sacrifice.
